Good Samaritan- Regine Hutalla

A good samaritan is a person who gratuitously assists or gives sympathy to someone in need. Being a good samaritan means helping others out of the goodness of your heart. A law should not be mandated requiring people to help others for a couple of reasons. First, passing a law on being a "good samaritan" takes away from the whole purpose of actually being a good samaritan. Since people should help others because it is the right thing to do, not because you are obliged to. Secondly, it is not always useful to force someone to help others because then they could make the situation worse. If you are obligated by law to help someone it could possibly inflict stress and danger on yourself and the person you are helping. Lastly, the situation is a lot more useful when it comes naturally from your heart.
