The California roll is commonly white on the outside (or inside depending on where the rice is), pink and white imitation crab, and green avocado or cucumber. The California roll also has small brown spots due to the sesame seeds sprinkled on the rice. The rice of the California roll and any other type of sushi is sticky, and the filling of the California roll is soft and can have a crisp added to it depending if there is cucumber inside.
Every time I eat a California roll, the taste is incredible. The slight salty taste of the crab and the refreshing cucumber combine together to create an amazing taste sensation. There are many ways to eat a California roll. You can either use chopsticks, a fork, or even use your fingers. You can also bite it, cut it, or stick the whole thing in your mouth and enjoy the entire thing. No matter how you eat it, the California roll will always be a classic and delicious type of sushi.
