The "no eating in class" rule is a controversial school policy that I would like to modify. Of course I understand that there are some problems with eating in class. For example, ants or garbage not being disposed properly. However not everyone is as irresponsible to leave their trash lying around in the classroom therefore not everyone should be punished. In addition, it is unfair for a teacher to be able to eat in the classroom when they can inflict the same offense. Also, studies show that chewing on gum or munching on something in class can help better concentration.
