Controversial School Policy- Kristen Sumbingco-Alba

A school policy I believe should be changed is to not eat during class. I mean, there is nothing wrong in eating during class unless that is all you would ever think about and not focus on what you are supposed to be doing. Us students, always try to find a way to eat in class. You see, we don't decide that we're hungry unless our stomach growls at us during a class period and gets upset since we have not fed them. Some students are only looking forward to lunch since it is only 10 minutes away. Then the only thing they would want the time to come is lunch. That would mean, they would not be able to concentrate on their learning, and just think about something that is not part of the lesson. Yes, the reason why all teachers does not want us to eat in class, is the ants. The ants will be all around the room, and they would just be coming and coming. I respect the teachers that does not allow us to eat during class. It would just become a big distraction when everyone is eating and not paying attention to the lesson that is being taught. Also, when our classmates would ask us if they could have some of our food. Well, this is just something I would like to change in our school policy.
