Good Samaritan - Byung Gwan Lim

First of all, let us ask this question before we get into whether it is fair to be mandated to help someone in need or not. What is the definition of a good samaritan? A good samaritan is someone who voluntarily helps someone in trouble like car accidents. Now emphasis on the voluntarily, it does not say mandatory does it? A person should not be mandated to help someone in need because then that would just be a thing that people will do infront of the police but where authority does not stand, they will not. The law is basically saying help everyone you see in sight that needs help. Well, does that limit to criminals? it does not say. Anyhow, you might not be in the position to help the person you see. Maybe you need to hurry to a job or other emergencies that you need to attend. So if you try to sneak by and get caught by the police, it would be really unfair.
