A policy I think we should change in school is eating in class. I understand that some students leave their trash behind and make a mess, thus attracting ants, but it doesn't mean everyone should have to follow the rules. Some of us are actually responsible enough to actually get up and throw the food away in it's proper place instead of leaving it on the floor. Think about it, does everyone always follow the same lunch schedule? No. You don't personally decide and go, 'Hey, I'm hungry!', your body is the one that tell you that, you can't choose when you're hungry just like you don't choose when you need to go use the restrooms. By allowing students to eat in class it can help them stay focused instead of thinking stuff like, 'omg, I'm so hungry! When is class over? Ugh, I need food.', causing lower grades because they don't pay attention. If students leave a mess, simply take the privilege away from them and that's it! Just think about it, do you decide when you're hungry or does your body?
