Religion is probably the most discussed topic in the world, besides politics and other stuff like that. So basically religion is based on moral ethics, good values and God(s). The 3 staple religions of people in the world are: Christianity with an amazing 2.1 billion followers! Islam with a still outstanding 1.5 billion and Judaism which doesn't have as much but is at 14 million people. These religions all have one major thing in common, and that is that they are monotheistic religions or that they only believe in one God, now some people have debated that it might be the same God they talk about but with a different name. Now this statement could be right or could be wrong, but I won't dwell on that topic right now. The other religion with a huge amount of followers is atheism, and it should not be classified as a religion because they do not even believe in a God or Gods.
Unfortunately with all of those followers devoted to there religions, comes Extremists, or devotees that take it to the next level. Extremists are commonly referred to as terrorists, and are sometimes seen as doing something horrible like being responsible for 9/11 and 7/7 (if you do not know what 7/7 is it is the London version of 9/11). The most noted Extremists is Al-Qaeda which is a group of angry Muslims that think that the Western society is horrible and should be punished for there crimes against God. But you should all know this, do not judge a book by its cover, put it this way the Extremists is the cover, but the Islam is the book. Do not go up to a middle eastern person or a Muslim person and call them a "Terrorist" because not all of them are terrorists and that is called stereotyping and it is offensive. Remember, Love for all Hate for none.
