Controversial School Policy - Rani Salileng
A school policy I would like to change at Olympian High School is to allow students to chew gum on campus and in class. Students should be able to chew gum because I do believe it would help us, students, to concentrate more. Also, when students are hungry it also throws them off focus. In replacement of making them wait for nutrition break, lunch, etc. we should let them chew gum in substitution until they are able to leave to get food for themselves. The faculty of Olympian High School might disagree with changing this because of how some students can be irresponsible with gum. Such as spitting it on the floor, leaving it under desks, and where ever else you can think of. But I do believe as long as we enforce keeping everything clean in exchange for allowing a new chewing gum policy that it would work out in the end.
