Occasionally when I get home, after an exhausting day at school, I lay on my couch and watch some television. Television is something most, if not all, families in the United States have. It is a rectangular shaped object that you could watch on. There are different types of televisions but they all share the same characteristics.All televisions have a rectangular screen in the middle where the images you are watching appear. They also have an area where the sound comes out and different functioning buttons on them. Some televisions are bulky and some are flat. Televisions usually come in the colors of black or silver. There are LCD TVs and plasma TVs. Whatever kind of television there is, a remote control is always included. The control is used for changing channels and turning the TV on or off.
To turn a TV on, look for the power button and press it. It does not get any harder than that. You could change the channel by pressing numbers or by pressing the ch+ and the ch- buttons. Changing the volume can be done by pressing the vol+ or vol- button. To turn off the TV, just press the power button again.
