Good Samaritan-Dristay Torres

Today in America, ample individuals are just too self-absorbed and unsympathetic to other people. Although, more unfortunately than that is the fact that those undesirable traits are even further intensified when crowds are present in emergency situation's. To explain, research by social psychologists concludes that when people are congreagated in crowds they are less likey to intervene in emergency situations because of the social influence of others. Moreover, that social influence can either prevent individuals from intervening because no one else is or it can influence them to do something pragmatic to abet in the situation because others are also doing something. As a result, various lives are being cut short and are being impacted drastically because common people are not taking action due to the more common negative social influences. However, this unfortunate problem can be eaily amended with a good samaritan law. With a good samaritan law, common people will know that they are obliged to aid those in need and won't let the "pack-mentality" get the best of them. Furthermore, with the law, society will be trained to help others and there selfish ways will disappear. Hence, with a good samaritan law, the world will become a better place and more lives could potentially be saved because of the good actions by others in emergency situations.
