A good samaritan is one performs good actions from the kindness of their heart, even if it serves no beneficial value to oneself.A time where I performed good actions as a good samaritan, was my family trip to disneyland. My family and I visit annually, mostly for the new shows and attractions they provide. One of our favorite attractions is the Castle fireworks,as from previous visits we knew the viewing area is always packed. So we decided to strategize our day to beat the chaos by setting aside an hour of the day to find good spots for the show.At the end of the day the plan had followed through,we had amazing spots right in time for the show.As the crowds spilled in and the viewing area became packed I laughed in pity of how unprepared they were.As I was sitting down listening to the deep narrating voice,"The fireworks will begin in two minutes, two minutes",I noticed a peculiar family. It was a small family, with two toddler girls and a petite mother and grandmother. They were in the corner of the viewing area behind a large group of highschool guys.I watched as they struggled boosting the two toddler girls up for a better view.I began to realize that this show would mean much more to them than it would to me.So I stood up from my perfect long-awaited seat and offered the family my spot. They were so thankful and appreciative, that their gesture meant more to me than any show.
