A policy that i disagree on is not being able to listen to your ipod or mp3 while in class. For some people including me, listening to music while doing work actually motivates them and makes it more enjoyable. When i do my homework, i always turn on my ipod because it helps me stay focused and helps me finish faster. The only time where it should be put away is when the teacher is teaching a lesson that requires the students full attention. Teachers should give students the privilege to listen to music in class, and those students that fail to listen to directions such as not putting the ipod/mp3 away when asked or being overly distracted by it should not be allowed to use them. On the other hand, those who do what their told and do their work should be allowed to use it.
