When I arrive home from a day of school, I see a large piano in the corner of the living room. The piano I have owned for over five years is still in perfect condition and working fine. I put my bag down and walk to the piano and sit down. I turn it on, and proceed to play a piece to calm myself down after a day of school.
The piano is a wonderful instrument, although large and cannot be carried like a violin. It consists of eighty-eight keys each with its own pitch. The key with the highest pitch is on the far right side of the piano and the lowest note is on the opposite side. Pianos can be found in various colors and sizes, and some can even produce sounds that are not usual piano sounds. The piano can be played many ways, like softly, fast and sudden, and many others.
When I play piano, i feel most relaxed, like all my troubles are washed away by the flood of notes played in a beautiful song. I go to this large instrument whenever I fell troubled, because music is not simply notes strung together to sound nice, it is a reflection of a person or their feelings. The notes are like words and letters, and music is all those words and letters put together to make a story. Music is a universal language and can be used to communicate feelings.
