Controversial School Policy

A policy at Olympian High School i would like to change is gum chewing. Chewing gum actually helps you concentrate and it helps stimulate your brain. Students at school enjoy chewing gum and it does not bother anybody or distract them. I understand that the staff at school do not want gum chewing because , students make a mess at school such as , throwing it on the floor or sticking it under the desks. I believe if students were allowed to chew gum they would obey the rules , to keep the gum chewing at are school. Also teachers get to chew gum at school. If students can not chew gum then teachers should not either. I know that the teachers are older and adults but , this school should be fair. Students also get very hungry during class and if they chew gum it can take their mind off of being so hungry. So i think Gum Chewing should be allowed at school !
