Sometimes people wont tell you that they are in need because they feel they don't want to bother anyone, but most people have a gut feeling of knowing that person has a need but they ignore it. That's when a good Samaritan shows up and lifts that person up from their sorrow or pain. I remember one time when something like this happened in my school. This girl was not going to have any presents or dinner or Christmas. She mentioned that to me and I felt in my heart to tell my mom. It started making a few phone calls to the people that knew her mom and we found out that there are people that have a stone instead of a heart. Luckily we were able to raise some money together and that was good enough to give them a nice meal and even a present for Christmas. I will never forget that and any time I see someone in need, especially kids, I will try to be that good Samaritan.
