Plagiarism is an action done by copying word by word information from someone and not giving any credit to the person. This act done by students who are caught doing it does not bring them close to success but straight down to the opposite. Plagiarism not only affects a student's grade in their class, but also opportunities in going to a college or university. It should not be done due to the plagiarizer having consequences that affect their future and the original author not receiving any acknowledgement for their work. Lastly, it makes the student display a lack of effort on their writing.
