Dear Congressman Jensen,

I am writing to you about the debate of either establishing a Good Samaritan law in California or not. In which believe that the State of California should not implement the law for the following reasons.

First of all, making a law of forcing someone to do something they dont have to do isnt morally right. the way i see it is that if someone is in need, the eye witness has the choice to either assist the person or not to. We all need to think about the other persons safety rather than just the person in need. For example, if there is a car crash and oil is everywhere, that is a bad spot for anyone to be in. If we implement the good samaritan law than that person would have to put him or herself in danger while one person already is.

I hope you view the debate of either implementing the good samaritan law or not from my perspective. Thank you for taking the time to read this letter.

Sincerely,

Elijah Reyes
