Plagiarism- Kristen Sumbingco-Alba

Plagiarism has been always been an issue that cannot be taken advantage of because of the future consequences. If you were to copy someone else's work and copy it word for word, it would not be your work. You cannot try to take the credit of someone's work if it is word for word. If you were to read that person's work, and summarize it into your own words, that would be yours. Some students copy because they are too lazy to do it themselves, or because they do not want the wrong answer. Therefore, if you plagiarize, you will get suspended, a referral, and a zero in that assignment. It would also be in your permanent record, and it would look bad if you are trying to get into college. If you plagiarize once, college administrators would think you would do it again. If you plagiarize in college, you will get kicked out and would not be accepted into any other colleges. So, do your work yourself and do not depend on other people to do it for you.
