Irene

This August Hurricane Irene threatened the safety of millions of east coast Americans. The hurricane was expected to be a catastrophe causing billions of dollars in damage. But luckily most of the hurricane was category one storm by the time it reached the coast. 85 mile an hour winds battered cities along east coast and caused flooding and trees to be ripped out of the ground.Cities affected by the storm are still recovering.
