Blackout-Bradley Roberto

The blackout of last Friday had a huge and negative effect on my family. The only thing we had were candles, food that would go bad, and barely any phone signal. Around seven o' clock that night, my step mom started to receive messages from her friends that gained their power back as they lived in different parts of San Diego, but no one in Sunbow had any electricity at all. After realizing that some areas already had power, we all sat in the living room just waiting for ours to come back on. The blackout hurt my family greatly because we rely on electricity so much, it is almost to the point to where we would not know what to do without it, and that blackout was a big wake up call. We realized that we use the electricity for our pleasure 24/7 and when the blackout hit, we were unprepared.
