Plagiarism - Adrian Ruano

Plagiarism is an act of stealing and passing off someone's original idea and turning it in as your own. Whether plagiarism is committed in a school environment or a job, it is taken as a very serious act of conduct. In a school environment, being caught plagiarizing a piece of text can result in a referral, Saturday school, and a parent-teacher conference. Although when you attend a University, consequences become greater, resulting in expulsion from the University. It becomes a huge disadvantage and isn't beneficial for you because it becomes harder to get accepted into another University. The bottom line is, plagiarism is a serious issue and will result in consequences.
