Julius Caesar Character- Regine Hutalla

This character from Julius Caesar is a conspirator and a long time colleague of Julius Caesar. He is very observant and does not accept that Julius Caesar is superior to him. He is very ambitious and as seen as a threat to Julius Caesar's power. Because of his ability to perceive, Julius Caesar in Act One, Scene Two states that "He thinks too much; such men are dangerous... Such men as he be never at heart's ease, whiles they behold a greater than themselves, and therefore are they very dangerous." (Lines 195 and 208-210) Caesar also describes him as lean, meaning he is angry and always hungry for power. The author of the play, William Shakespeare, tells of chaos that is coming to Rome by using foreshadowing. This character is very excited about this chaos because it could possibly harm Caesar's reign.
