Cassius, the man that is a senator in Julius Caesars rule can be described as a very crafty, sly and observant person. He carefully chooses words like a assassin would choose his blade and at the right time, says the sentence. Cassius uses his very sly word trickery to convince Brutus to kill Julius Caesar, despite Brutus is his Caesars long lived friend. Brutus is not really convinced at first but as the conversation progresses, Cassius makes the statement that convinces him definitively, to do it for the Rome republic. He uses his strategy and crafty words to also change the opinion of Casca about Julius Caesar, Casca is originally thinks that Cassius is a very dark character but Cassius changed his mind.
