Julius Caesar

Julius Caesar is of course an important role in the play "Julius Caesar" but not the main character. Julius Caesar was a general, politician, and a writer in 100-44 B.C. He loved Rome and the people in it. He was a very forgiving man that would allow people that disliked him to live instead of giving them the boot. He was a very determined man and would do almost anything to win the people of Rome's approval. He would bribe them with money. He was a very clever man as well, he took control of many countries gaining more power for Rome. Caesar was also a very power hungry man. Once he started gaining power he wanted more. He started conquering other countries as mentioned before and continued to do so. The people of Rome loved him, he was declared dictator for 10 years and later on moved up to dictator for life. He was a very good ruler for Rome.
