Personal Growth

Over break, I learned more things about my family, mostly about my mother. She works as a principal assistant at Lincoln Acres and is always complaining how stressful the job is thanks to the budget cuts but I always just brushed it off. Being that she works for a school, she also had break along side with me. Everyday of break she'd always say, "Wow, it feels so good to not have to be going to work, why can't this last longer?" Looking at her work load that she brought with her from work to work on at home made me realize I need to help around the house more often. I usually put chores off until someone tells me to do them, but now I'm starting to take responsibility for my chores and doing them without being asked. I really hope this will help my mom out a lot and take some stress off of her shoulders.
