This Julius Caesar character is very important in the first act of the play. He has the ability and wit to manipulate people's minds, which also shows that he knows how to plan toward his advantage. He is very observant of the people around him and seems like a dark character. A connection is made by Casca as to which this character is like the bird of the night, or an owl. He does not want Caesar in power, and the more he senses anything that would end up in contrast to Caesar's power, he will be happy. This is shown by his excitement of the oncoming storm, during this era of Rome.
